Principle

The improvement
of storage methods is very important for renewable energy sources,
since solar energy, for example, as well as other energy sources
are not available at all times. The aim of this experiment is to
demonstrate how a commercially available accumulator (storage
battery) can be used to store the electrical energy of a solar cell
in order to use it later on. The charging and discharging
characteristics of the storage battery are studied for 4 different
charging times.
