Principle

Inside a PEM fuel cell,
hydrogen and oxygen react to form water. During this process,
electrical energy is generated. The electric power depends on the
magnitude of the load resistance. This fuel cell can be supplied with oxygen as well as
with air. The characteristic curves of both operating modes are
compared.
