Function and Applications
The balances of the OHAUS CL series are ideally suited for
use as student balances due to their functions and their attractive
prices. In spite of their small size they own a big weighing
platform, which is even big enough for a beaker with a volume of 2
liters. It is possible to use 3 AA alkaline batteries (R6), that
are contained in the scope of delivery, or an adapter (not to
contain in the scope of delivery; as separate accessories
available) as power supply for the balances. Therefore this
balances are at best suitable for a mobile use in the lab, in the
school, in the field or in the office.

Benefits
When the balances are not in use, they can be stacked
place saving. For this purpose the integrated load cell lock is
used to protect the weighing cell from damage during storage or
transportation. On the base of the case the balances have a moulded
ring. This allows to stack several units for storage without
sliding.
